What is Cryoskin?
Cryoskin is a new fat loss device from Italy. People lose an average of 1.85 inches over 5 sessions and many people say they lose 0.5 inches or more in the first session! When you put water in the freezer you know when it comes out as ice it’s bigger? This is because water expands when it’s cooled. Fat cells happen to be more sensitive to changes in temperature than other cells in your body so, when you cool them, the water in them expands, breaking the cell. These cells then pass out of the lymphatic system. The best results occur around 5 sessions - the average fat loss was 38% with a sample of 100 people.
We measure the area you would like treated before and after the first session so you can see the immediate impact. It also can help reduce cellulite. This works by cooling the subcutaneous areas of the legs which creates vasodilation or expansion of the blood vessels. This brings in more collagen which helps break down the fibers which create the dimpling. It also has a facial treatment, which is a natural anti-aging treatment. It also creates vasodilation but this time, in the face, which brings in collagen and breaks down fine lines and wrinkles
Slimming
In this procedure, your provider will use a handheld wand to warm the area being treated for two minutes, which brings fat cells toward the surface of the skin. The skin is then rapidly cooled—down to -10ºF—for 12 minutes, destroying the fat cells (technical term: cryolipolysis). With time, your body naturally flushes out the destroyed fat cells.
CryoSlimming , as the treatment, reduces fat via cryolipolysis. However, the device uses and treatment times vary. CryoSlimming uses a wand that your provider moves around in a massage-like motion. CryoSlimming can be done in about 30 minutes, whereas CoolSculpting can take up to two hours.
While you may see some improvement after one session, three to six are recommended, for the best results. The treatments can be done every 15 days.
Results are considered permanent, as the destroyed fat cells won’t return. However, if you gain weight, remaining fat cells in the area can expand.
Toning
The procedure and device used for CryoToning Cellulite is similar to that of CryoSlimming—but in this case, there’s no heat involved, just frigid temperatures. The cold causes vasodilation, or widening of the blood vessels, which stimulates blood flow. This then stimulates collagen production, which can break down cellulite, making dimpled buttocks or thighs look smoother. Both CryoToning Cellulite and CryoSlimming are effective on the same spots—legs, buttocks, and abdomen—and there’s no downtime with either treatment. Still, it’s important to keep in mind that neither of these is a weight-loss treatment. They work best on people who are close to their optimal weight but have a few areas that may be resistant to diet and exercise.
Three to five treatments are recommended for best results, which will last up to five weeks, though you’ll notice the biggest difference in the first few days post-treatment.
Cryoskin Facial
During this treatment, a (very) cold stream of nitrogen vapor is blown onto your face and neck. This boosts blood flow and can ultimately speed up collagen production, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone. It takes just 8 to 10 minutes.
You can expect some results instantly—decreased puffiness and inflammation, tighter-looking skin—though these may last for only a few weeks. The treatment can be done every seven days, and with repeated sessions, you’re more likely to notice long-term effects, such as wrinkle reduction.
